GEARS is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Swim Instructor to join our team in Elizabethtown, PA. This part-time, on-site role involves leading swim instruction, teaching proper swimming techniques, conducting parent-and-child classes, and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and conduct swim lessons for individuals of all ages and skill levels.
- Teach proper swimming techniques and water safety practices.
- Lead parent-and-child swim classes.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Provide clear and positive communication with students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Swim Instructor preferred.
- Strong background in swimming and aquatics instruction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all age groups.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
